Another Poem

Descending

The colors burn,
Then colors blur
And smear away with dusk.
The colors brim,
Then colors blend
And blow away like dust.

The songs drift,
Then songs drain
And scatter many notes.
The songs dim,
Then songs die
And catch in many throats.

The lights whirl
Then lights wilt
And slowly slip thier mark
The lights wink
Then lights wane
And slowly fade to dark

The sounds cheer,
Then sounds churn
And bend in ways unknown.
The sounds change,
Then sounds chide
And fall away from home.
